Workington’s Trespass store looks set to close its doors for the final time later this year.
Signs in the windows of the Washington Square store appeared earlier this year and say the Sunday, July 9 will be the last day of trading for the outdoor clothing store.
Mystery surrounds the impending closure – Cumbria Crack has attempted to contact the company on several occasions but received no response.
It has been reported that closing down signs in Trespass stores have been spotted elsewhere in the country, but it has turned out that the stores were not actually closing.
The firm also has stores in Keswick, Grasmere, Ambleside, Carlisle, Bowness, Kendal and Barrow and it is not clear what the future of those shops is.
Closing down signs have been spotted in the firm’s outlet at Caledonia Park – formerly known as Gretna Gateway.
