Firefighters from Longtown and Carlisle were called out to tackle a farm vehicle blaze.
The crews were called to the Hethersgill area to help deal with the fire in a loader.
Longtown Fire Station said: “A single breathing apparatus wearer with a high pressure hosereel jet extinguished a well developed fire in a loader. Thankfully the fire did not extensively spread.”
