The Cumberland County League hopes that new clubs will join up for the 2023/24 season.
Two clubs have expressed an interest in joining at next month’s annual general meeting but have to confirm their applications then.
The League currently has 15 member clubs split eight in the Premier Division and seven in Division One.
The management committee would welcome interest from any new teams, particularly with clubs who have players 16 years and above.
This would provide an opportunity for those players to break into adult football and assist their progression in the game.
The annual meeting is to be held on Thursday, June 22 at 7pm in the Cumberland County FA Offices in Cockermouth.
