A man has been arrested after a blaze in Barrow resulted in two men being seriously injured.
Firefighters were called to Storey Square on Thursday, June 1 and reported it to police at around 6pm.
Two men were taken to hospital with serious injuries and a third man was taken to Furness General Hospital for smoke inhalation.
A 57-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life. He remains in police custody.
A joint investigation into the incident has been launched by police and the fire service and the area remains cordoned off while enquiries continue.
Police are appealing for dashcam and doorbell footage around the time of the incident.
