Veteran Carl Forber is back in the Workington Town squad for the first time this season.
Town’s record goal-kicker has been out since tearing a quad muscle in pre-season.
He is included in the 21 named by coach Anthony Murray for the visit of Cornwall.
Jake Bradley, who has joined on a permanent deal from Whitehaven, is also in the Town squad.
It’s the first time the two clubs have met and Cornwall have a 906 miles round trip to complete the fixture having set off this morning at 6.30am.
They had expected to be kicking off at 1.30pm to allow them more time to get home and the Rugby Football League were brought into deliberations when Town said the kick-off time was 3pm.
In the end a compromise was reached and the game will start at 2.30pm and it was agreed that Cornwall will take their after-match meals straight onto the coach at the end so that they can get on their way.
Cornwall have just completed a two week loan deal for Jordan Bull, the English Universities captain from Hunslet, and he is in the squad travelling to west Cumbria.
Workington will choose from: Matty Henson, Jake Bradley, Jordan Thomson, Earl Hurst, Jason Mossop, Stevie Scholey, Connor Terrill, Ethan Bickerdike, Ciaran Walker, Luke Charlton, Grant Reid, Hanley Dawson, Jordan Burns, Carl Forber, Fergus Simpson, Liam McNicholas, Blain Marwood, Malik Steele, Joe Kirkup, Sean Sabutey, Max ASnderson-Moore.
Cornwall’s squad: Harry Aaronson, Tom Ashton, Ewan Badham, Reece Boase, Harry Boots, Cam Brown, Jordan Bull, Errol Carter, Luke Collins, Nathan Cullen, Kaine Dimech, Sam Gilder, Jake Lloyd, George Mitchell, Coby Nichol, Jack Ray, Adam Rusling, Nick Slaney, Decarlo Trerise, David Weetman, Liam Whitton.
