TV personalities Helen Skelton and Gethin Jones have officially reopened a revamped Penrith store.
The pair cut the ribbon at the new-look Go Outdoors outlet and welcomed the first customers inside.
They also took part in a question-and-answer session with customers. Helen, whose family live in Appleby, was asked what the outdoors meant to her.
She said: “Nature and adventure are great levellers. There’s no denying time spent outside is good for your mental health and that’s why I would encourage anyone to invest in yourself by being outdoors. This store provides the gear for people to do that.”
