Two women and a man have been arrested following an assault in the early hours of Friday in Workington.
Police are investigating the incident, which took place at the junction of Washington Street and Jane Street at about 1.20am.
The victim sustained multiple cuts and bruises to her face and a large swelling to her eye.
Two women, aged 43 and 39, and one man aged 47 were arrested on suspicion of ABH on the night of the incident and have since been released on bail.
