Cockermouth were eight wicket winners over Workington in the latest West Cumbria Midweek League fixture.
Regan Tinnion, brother of Workington Reds skipper Conor Tinnion, retired on 32 while Mike Johnson (30) also retired at the top of the order for Cockermouth.
Johnny Barncroft was 25no and Mike Holliday was 18 not out as Cockermouth reached a winning total of 145-2 with three overs to spare.
As so often happens in Midweek League cricket they were helped by 21 extras. Ben Scott took 1-2 from his two overs.
Workington had elected to bat first and rather fell away after a flying start at the top of the order.
Liam Hazzard (35ret), Tony Quinn (30ret) and Jack Williamson (28) had given Workington a foundation which they weren’t able to build on as they were bowled out for 144 in 17.2 overs.
Alex Scales took 2-10 and Karim Gardiner had 2-17 for Cockermouth.
