A north Cumbrian A road will close between 7pm and 6am from tomorrow for roadworks.
The A689 will shut from the A69 Brampton roundabout to Ruleholme each evening until next Saturday, July 8.
A signed diversion will be in place and people or businesses require access to their property are asked to discuss it with the traffic marshal who will be on site during the work each night.
Cumberland Council, which is carrying out the work, said it is being carried out in the evenings to ensure there is no disruption to traffic during the day.
People are advised to plan, and allow more time for their journeys, and follow the diversion.
