Ex-England footballer Michael Owen was guest of honour at the official opening of a vital West Cumbrian charity’s new home.
Allerdale Disability Association, set up in 1976 to provide support and advice to people across the west coast, has moved into the former Moorclose Library in Workington.
The charity was previously based in Moorclose Community Centre but began its plan to move to new premises as demand for its services grew last year.
It has been based in the community centre since 2014.
