Workington MP Mark Jenkinson has hit the road to tour his constituency and meet the people he represents.
He started the surgery tour today in Northside Community Centre, Workington and also visited Crosscanonby, Broughton and Cockermouth.
Parliament has broken up for its summer recess.
He said: “I will be touring villages and towns across the Workington Constituency to discuss any issues or concerns you might have.
“There is no need to book an appointment – simply turn up to one of the venues. Here, you will have the opportunity to speak to my team and me. If for any reason you can’t attend a surgery in your community, feel free to come to one of the others.
“When I was elected to represent you in 2019, I promised that I would be a voice for everyone in the Workington Constituency. Speaking to you face-to-face is one of the best ways to get an insight into the matters that are important to you.”
