A reunion will be held next month to celebrate a Keswick School music teacher’s career.
Marie Lee was head of music at the school and retired last month after a 31-year career.
On September 30, the school is planning to hold a day of music with former students and staff and culminate in a free concert in the school’s Queen’s Hall.
Anyone who was involved in any of the choirs or vocal groups at Keswick School is invited to attend the event for a ‘sing from scratch’ session where we will sing some songs that the choirs and groups used to sing at school and prepare these to perform in the afternoon concert.

If there are enough former members of MOVE, Keswick School’s Male Only Vocal Ensemble, that group will also rehearse and perform on the day.
Anyone involved in the school instrumental groups is also invited to come along and get in touch as soon as possible so an instrumental group can be organised to also rehearse and perform on the day.

The reunion is also open to any past students who wish to say hello and reminisce. There will be a chance to see the music department next to Crosthwaite Church and there is no pressure to perform in any way.

If anyone would like to perform at the concert – solo or ensemble – or get involved in any way, they should email [email protected]
