Primark expands click and collect service in Carlisle

Carlisle’s Primark is expanding its click and collect service to include women’s clothing.

The English Street store is one of 57 across the UK trialling the introduction of 1,000 fashion items that are able to be ordered online and picked up in store.

It will offer a wider choice of womenswear for customers, featuring clothing items that are normally only available in larger Primark stores.

From next Wednesday 13 September, the trial will go ahead and join the children’s and nursery ranges already available to order through the service.

Primark’s autumn and winter collections will be available online alongside the firm’s premium ‘Edit’ collection that is currently only available in a select number of stores across the country.

In-store bestsellers will be available online in an extended range of colours and styles as well as online-exclusive clothing.

Specialist products including Primark’s Supporting Women for Life womenswear, lingerie and nightwear ranges including maternity, breast cancer, period pants and menopause collections will also be added to the service.

After browsing online and adding items to a virtual shopping basket, customers can choose a day to collect, up to seven days ahead, from their chosen store.

Orders will be available for collection from two days after they have been placed with a £15 minimum order value and no delivery charge. Customers will be able to collect their order from a dedicated Click + Collect desk and pay for any other items they’ve picked up in store.
