Three fire crews rescued a cow stuck in the mud in north Cumbria.
Crews from Carlisle East, Carlisle West and Longtown fire stations were called to the Solway on Burgh marsh at around 7pm last night, Friday September 8 to help the animal.
Working with the Coastguard and a vet, the crews managed to rescue the cow.
The callout lasted around two hours.
