Tuesday night saw a return to Seaton for the second in the series of three trails over the course.
Again, there were only small fields with the trails slipping earlier as the nights draw in.
The senior hounds got things underway with a field of nine and Foxparke Beep Beep was the 6/4 favourite after her great performance on Sunday.
However as they showed in the bottoms at Camerton Foxparke Beep Beep was a little way off the pace but by the time they had completed the middle section of the trail and crossed the last road she was bang up with the leader, Lady Million, with Silver Streak and Cracking Last One Two in hot pursuit.
As they came through the last gate it was a close race with both hounds head to head but Lady Million, sent off at 3/1, just pipped Foxparke Beep Beep on the line to win by a short head.
It was a really exciting finish in behind as Silver Streak also just got up to beat Cracking Last One Two with Strawberry Mick finishing in fifth place a repeat from Sunday while Barncroft Express also got sixth again.
Next to race were the open pups with nine runners and again a good quality field.

Silver Dream was 2/1 on with Mel at 5/2 and Money Talks at 7/2. Artist had been a bit off the pace on Sunday but now that she had been round the course would she be able to do any better?
As the dogs showed on the finish it was Silver Dream and Artist who were racing hard against each other.
Both hounds came through the last gate level but Silver Dream just managed to get up and cross the line in first place with Bill Mellon and co’s Artist just beaten by a short head.
Neil and Gillian Brown’s Hey Mac finished in third place with Foxparke Side Kick in fourth and Graham Reid’s Money Talk’s in fifth place. The Foxparke kennel took the last ticket with Danny Elliot.
The pups had been racing hard taking nearly two minutes off the time compared to Sunday.

The last race of the night was for the open restricted race with just six runners.
The bookies favourite was Foxparke Jiggly Puff after his win on Sunday in the Veteran race. Could he make it a double at Seaton?
Brooke Butler, who usually handles him, was at the trails after missing Sunday’s big win, so she was keen to make up for missing ‘Henry’s’ big moment.
As the hounds showed on the finish it was two of the three Foxparke hounds that were in front.
It turned out to be a right old battle to the line between Foxparke Jiggly Puff and Foxparke Lady Ava, with ‘Henry’ doing the necessary and crossing the line first much to the delight of Brooke.

Anne and Mel Reay’s Red Baaeed finished well in third place with John and Nicola Lyon’s Black Eyed Mist in fourth and Laura Steele’s Babyliss in fifth.
The last ticket of the day went to Foxparke Sassy Girl.
Action moves to Spadeadam on Thursday with a three-card meeting and the first trail slips at 3.15pm.
