Carlisle City will be at home to Cheadle Town in the second round of the FA Vase on November 11.
Cheadle had a very good 5-3 win at Ryton and Crawcrook Albion, who had beaten Penrith in an earlier round.
Former Workington Reds midfielder Paul Marshall is the Cheadle manager who led them to promotion to the North West Counties Premier League last season.
After a slow start to life in the top flight Marshall has got them up to 16th and making progress into the second round proper of the FA Vase.
Carlisle City were without a game yesterday as scheduled opponents Redcar Athletic were supposed to play their delayed FA Vase tie but it was postponed again.
