This holiday season, Oak Tree Farm invites you to a day of festive celebrations.
On Saturday, November 18, from noon to 8pm, amidst the picturesque landscape of Wetheral, the event promises a delightful array of activities and stalls to spark the joy of the season.
From browsing an enchanting selection of Christmas stalls to savouring the warmth of mulled wine or cider, all attendees can relish the magical atmosphere while listening to timeless carols.
All proceeds generated from this event will be dedicated to supporting the care of the animals.
But the excitement doesn’t end there! In Blackburn Woods, a winter wonderland awaits, where visitors can journey through the whimsical scenery to meet Santa and his cheerful elves in his very own grotto.
Liz Fell, fundraising officer, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome everyone to join us for this heartwarming event. Santa’s grotto promises a wonderful experience, which is also now wheelchair accessible thanks to our new bird hide.
“Thank you to Caledonia Park who donated and wrapped the gifts. Your presence and support will go a long way in helping the animals we deeply care for.”
We encourage people to bring their spare change to contribute to this meaningful cause.
For those interested in showcasing their crafts and wares, there’s an opportunity to book a stall or pitch at the event.
By participating, you will also be contributing to the cause! Please choose the appropriate booking option: a Craft Stall, which includes a shared gazebo/shelter and one table (without a tablecloth), or a Craft Pitch, where you bring your own gazebo/shelter and table.
Participants are advised to bring their own battery-powered lights and decorations to add a festive touch.
