
A man has suffered life-threatening injuries during a collision in Barrow.
The collision happened at the junction of Rawlinson Street and Crellin Street yesterday at around 10.15am.
It involved a Nissan Micra, driven by a man, in his 30s, and an e-scooter carrying a man in his 60s.
The man on the e-scooter was taken to hospital in Preston with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Nissan was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by driving without due care and driving otherwise than in accordance with his licence.
Closures were put in place as investigations were carried out.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who has relevant dashcam or doorbell footage to come forward.
