Richard Hodgson’s winner of the Flimby channel show race for any age hens.

Flimby Homing Society completed their show series with a class of 38 any age hens.

It was the second of the club’s show race features and will be for the first channel race next season.

Bill Jefferson was the judge and he came up with the following ticket winners from an eye-catching class.

1, 7, 8, R. Hodgson; 2, Nelson and Crellin; 3, 6, Tinnion and McGarr; 4, 5, Berwick, Watson and co.

The club had staged four shows prior to the show races and the winners of most points over the series were Varty, son and grandson.

The show enthusiasts will turn to Workington Victoria on Friday night in the Union Jack Club with judging at 7-30pm.

There are two classes to consider – all the ticket winners from the four show series and also for fancy coloureds.
