A man has appeared in court in connection with an attempted murder in Cleator Moor over the weekend.
Lee Walker, 32, of no fixed address, appeared at magistrates today following the incident on William Morris Avenue on Saturday.
The incident involved two men and one of the men was taken to Carlisle’s Cumberland Infirmary for treatment.
Walker was charged with:
- Attempt murder
- Assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm
- Two counts of possessing a knife in a public place
- Assaulting an emergency worker
He was remanded in custody to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on February 26.
