
Police are seeking witnesses after a woman was attacked while walking her dog in Harrington.
The incident took place at around 8.15pm on January 25 on the main road in Harrington, near the cemetery.
During the incident an unknown man has grabbed the lead of a woman walking her dog, a Jack Russell. He has then pulled the woman into the graveyard and punched her in the face, causing bruising.
The victim has then pushed the man and left the area, with the dog.
During the incident the dog has bitten the man.
Following new lines of enquiry detectives investigating the incident are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
