Stafford Rangers will have a new face in their line-up to face Workington Reds tomorrow in a key game for the NPL Premier Division strugglers.
Rangers, fighting the drop, have taken 19-year-old midfielder Kian Taylor, on loan from Preston North End, until the end of the season.
Taylor has been in the first team squad at Deepdale but suffered from an arm injury earlier in the season. Highly rated at Preston, he will be involved with the squad for this weekend’s games against the Reds and Gainsborough on Monday.
Stafford’s Under 21s prospect Max Raine has also been added to the squad. He is an attacking midfielder/striker and becomes the eighth youngster to sign a first team form and now trains with the first team.
Raine, along with Max Barlow and Henry Brereton, signed on dual registration with Pilkington FC, all playing ninety minutes on debut Wednesday evening against Charnock Richard in the North West Counties Premier Division.
Reds have also added two members of their Development squad to the travelling party in Sam Christian and Zak Walker. Bobby Carroll will be available for Monday’s home game with Atherton Collieries.
