Drivers are warned they face delays as work continues to resurface a major road in Workington.
Contractors began work yesterday on New Bridge Road on the five-day project.
They started from Northside roundabout to Northside junction yesterday and today until Friday will work from the Northside junction to the Tesco roundabout.
Work takes place from 8am to 4pm each day, but the closure on the A597 remains in place outside of the working times.
A diversion is in place.
