A man has been arrested following several reports about a car driving dangerously in the Bowness-on-Windermere area on Sunday.
A 20-year-old man from Rochdale was arrested on suspicion of:
- Driving a vehicle over the prescribed limit of alcohol
- Failure to stop at a road traffic collision
- Dangerous driving
- Aggravated taking of a vehicle without consent
- Possession of a class B drug
- Driving without insurance
He has been released on police bail while the investigation continues.
