Emergency services have been called to Whitehaven harbour to deal with an incident.
Police, Coastguard and the fire service are currently at the scene. The RNLI has also been called out.
It is believed there is a person in the water – but this has not yet been confirmed.
The area in front of the Zest Harbourside restaurant has also been taped off by police.
Police have now confirmed the body of a man in his 60’s has been recovered at the scene.
