A walker was airlifted to hospital after being trampled by cows on a Lake District fell.
Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team were called out to the incident on Thursday April 25 on Wansfell, near Ambleside.
Crew members attended to the female walker, who had been hiking on the fell when a herd of cows trampled her.
She sustained a number of different injuries and received initial treatment from rescue teams.
The woman was then airlifted to hospital by the North West Air Ambulance for further attention.
