A kayak tournament will be held on Coniston Water to raise funds for South Cumbrian charities.
It will take place on July 13 and is hosted by the Ulverston-based Ford Park Community Group to raise funds for itself, St Mary’s Hospice and CancerCare.
Businesses, groups, sports clubs, and friends are invited to submit a team of three members to take part in the relay race.
Each leg of the relay will be around 800m.
Team entry is £10 per person. Following this, a fundraiser will be set up for the team so they can gain sponsorship to help support the charities involved.
All kayaks and equipment have been provided by Water Park Lakeland Adventure Centre for free, so all teams need to do is turn up.
