Man chased victim with spanner in West Cumbrian village

A man was chased by another man with a spanner in an assault in a West Cumbrian village.

Police are investigating the incident at Kilbride Place in Frizington at around 4.20pm on Thursday, May 23.

The victim sustained injuries resulting in blood being located at the scene.

Police are appealing for both the victim in this case to come forward to police and witnesses to also come forward with information.

Police said they were unable to provide any further information into the levels of injury sustained to the victim and asked him to attend a hospital for medical treatment and come forward to police to give some further information about the attack.

They are asking members of the community to help in this investigation to identify the victim in this case, the suspect and any witnesses.
