Festival-goers have 60 days to get ready for Kendal Calling.

Billed as the mini-Glastonbury of the north, the four-day event takes place at Lowther Deer Park and acts include headliners Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Paolo Nutini, The Streets, Paul Heaton with guest singer Rianne Downey, and Keane, along with a wealth of hundreds of other unmissable acts.

Over 40,000 people are expected to attend and tickets are selling fast, said organisers.

They have announced how the festival, from August 1 to August 4 will shape up.

Main stage

The main stage will play host to a jam-packed line-up including Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Paolo Nutini, The Streets, Paul Heaton with guest singer Rianne Downey, Keane, Sugababes, Declan McKenna, The Reytons, Feeder, The Snuts, Kate Nash, Pale Waves, The Hunna, CMAT and tons more!

Parklands

It’s well known that over at Parklands, it’s always a party. Fans are welcomed to step inside the upside down garden and experience other-worldly entertainment with everything from live music, comedy, banging DJ sets, family entertainment and more.

This summer, Parklands is headlined by Lottery Winners, Lightning Seeds and Katy B and what’s more, arena comic Paul Smith will take to Parklands on Sunday evening for a very special set.

The twists and turns and weird and wonderful is what Parklands is all about, and this year, Kendal favourite Tim Burgess will be joined by the one and only Gary Neville for what is, undoubtedly, the most talked about and hotly anticipated DJ set of the year!

Plus, The Pigeon Detectives make a welcome return to Kendal Calling and The 900 will perform a set of stone cold classics from the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater soundtrack.

There’s no shortage of soap royalty either, as Alan Fletcher (yes, that is Dr Karl Kennedy from Neighbours) performs, and Shaun Williamson also known as Barry from Eastenders, brings back Barrioke! Oh and not forgetting the utterly unmissable Dick & Dom!
