The group behind a popular annual pop-up shop that has been running for five years is set to host more regular events.
The Carlisle Creative is hosting three pop-up shops this year – with the next two upcoming events being a Summer shop and Christmas event.
Over 20 makers are involved with the Summer pop-up, which will take place from June 28 until July 7 at the We are Intro unit on Paternoster Row, in Carlisle and it will be open daily from 9.30am until 4pm and from 11am until 3pm on Sundays.
Artisan and craft products of all kinds are sold at the events and the summer pop-up is set to focus on themes of colour, summer, travel and topics of local interest.

Each pop-up shop event features different creators and gives small businesses a chance to get their products out and onto the high street.
The Carlisle Creative was first launched five years ago by Becca Dockerty and Hannah Pearson after they felt there was a lack of local quality markets and craft fairs to sell their own work at.
Their first pop-up event took place at The Guild on Abbey Street in the city and inspired the pair to build a bigger more regular community event.

The following year the pair asked friends to come and join them to broaden the pop-up’s appeal to shoppers and the event has continued to grow since.
Becca and Hannah said: “We believe that Cumbria and the Borders has a wealth of wonderful artisans and a rich heritage crafting history, which we aim to showcase to the local community, enabling makers to grow their business, get sales and make connections.
“We love being a part of the independent shop community in Carlisle and our aim is to keep growing year on year, giving as many makers as possible a chance to see their work in a physical shop on their local high street.”
