Drivers are being urged to obey a road closure in Workington.
Allerdale Police have received reports of drivers ignoring a road closure sign in place on Central Way in the town.
People are said to be driving into the area and parking there, obstructing access for construction traffic.
Officers will be patrolling the area over the coming weeks and enforcing the road closure to avoid disruption to the the construction works.
