A heritage sign has gone missing as contractors work on a multi-million-pound roads scheme in South Cumbria.
Story Contracting is leading the Grizebeck scheme – a £23.3 million project to create a new single carriageway road between Chapels and Grizebeck village.
It said a sign went missing from the village between Monday, September 30 and Tuesday October 1 and it wanted help in tracking it down.
Anyone with information should contact Cumbria police on 101.
