The M6 is closed between junctions 45 and 44 this morning following a collision.
Cumbria police said its officers and other agencies were currently at the scene in the area of Low Harker Bridge today, Sunday, October 20, at around 5.45am.
The collision involved one vehicle and there are no injuries.
However, a vehicle is stuck on the bridge and the M6 will be closed fully until it is recovered.
