Carlisle United forward Anton Dudik has joined National League North side South Shields on an initial one-month loan deal.
It’s a double loan swoop by Shields as they have also recruited Leeds United full-back Joe Richards under a similar arrangement.
Dudik, 19, made two first-team appearances off the bench last season and started in the recent Bristol Street Motors Trophy game against Wigan Athletic.
He hails from Lutsk, Ukraine and joined Carlisle United from Polish side Slask Wroclaw II in January.
South Shields are currently 16th in the National League North and the young forward will go straight into their squad for Saturday’s game against Brackley Town.
Richards, also 19, joins the Mariners from Leeds United having recently signed his first professional contract with the club.
