Police officers in a West Cumbrian town had to unleash their inner sheepdogs after a flock tried to make a run for it.
Copeland Police said it was top tier rural policing from two PCs in Whitehaven, who rounded up and herded the 15 escapee sheep on an unnamed Whitehaven housing estate.
Copeland Police added: “The officers worked together to secure the flock before identifying their owner, who came to collect them. Only in West Cumbria.”
