A pedestrian has been seriously injured after a collision with a bus yesterday afternoon in Carlisle.
Police were called at around 12.20pm yesterday, Monday November 4 and it is understood the pedestrian was taken to hospital.
Carlisle roads were closed as a result but the closures were lifted mid-afternoon.
The closures were in place on West Tower Street, on the road leading to and from Castle Way on to West Tower Street, Peter Street and Market Street while investigations were ongoing, Cumbria police said.
