There’s a reduced programme on Saturday as Cumbria rugby union winds down for the seasonal break.
The Counties 1 Cumbria have already started their Christmas/New Year break and will resume on January 4.
Penrith have an attractive game to finish on in 2024 as fourth in the table Manchester visit Winters Park.
The Cumbrians gave one of their worst performances of the season last week at Leek and will surely want to make amends against a good Manchester side.
In contrast Kendal put up a superb display against leaders Rossendale before losing 35-20 and something similar against a fading Blackburn side could provide a pre-Christmas tonic.
In Regional 2 North top game is a county derby between Keswick and an improving Kirby Lonsdale.
Both had good wins last week and Keswick are showing signs of breaking into the top half of the table. Martin Maughan has this one to control.
Sadly Carlisle have gone into reverse gear after a promising start to the season, and was encapsuled in their 20-0 defeat at bottom side Kirkby Lonsdale last week.
They have an attractive home game against second in the table Middlesbrough and the visitors are bringing two teams over.
A late fitness test will decide which referee takes this one. Jonny Watson will take the second team game.
The other two Cumbrian sides both end 2024 on the road – Aspatria go to Morpeth and Upper Eden are at Consett.
