A Cumbrian town centre was blocked following a crash involving a cherry picker.
Alston town centre was blocked east of the Front Street junction after the vehicle crashed into a wall in a residential area.
PSCOs were first on the scene and assisted colleagues to manage the situation.
There were no casualties.
Drivers were asked to take care approaching the scene and take another route where possible.
