Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team’s first call out of 2025 was to help a man who had fallen in a Whitehaven cemetery.
The team was called out by the North West Ambulance Service for help on January 2.
Paramedics needed help to transfer the man to an ambulance at around 12.10pm.
The team said: “A limited callout was made and some local team members attended direct with others ready at base if further team equipment or people were needed.
“However, the extra help at base was not needed and the transfer to the ambulance was completed quickly under the direction of the North West Ambulance Service. We wish the man a speedy recovery.”
