Two men – wearing balaclavas and black clothes – stole a toolbox and tools from a West Cumbrian shed on Friday afternoon.
The burglary happened at around 12.50pm at Potters Meadow. off Ashfield Road South, in Workington.
The toolbox has since been recovered.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any CCTV footage of suspects matching the description around that time in the area to come forward.
