A person was airlifted to hospital after a farming incident in north Cumbria at the weekend.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service said its critical care team was alerted at around 4pm on Saturday to reports of the incident at Aikton, near Wigton.
It said: “We had a doctor and paramedic on board our aircraft and they arrived on scene at 4.19pm.
“Our team worked alongside the North West Ambulance Service to assess a patient and administered advanced treatment before airlifting them to hospital.”
