A Workington man has been banned from shops in the town for two years.
Deri Hendren, 40, was handed a criminal behaviour order by magistrates after an application by Cumbria police’s Allerdale Neighbourhood Policing.
The order means that Hendren cannot:
- Enter any property or premises that are members of the Workington Schemelink at any time or any shop that displays the Schemelink sign.
- Enter Tesco on New Bridge Road in Workington
- Enter The Phone Shop on Murray Road in Workington
The punishment for breaking the terms of an order can be up to five years in prison.
Anyone who witnesses Hendren breaching the terms of the order is asked to contact police.
