People in Silloth are urged to help decide what events and activities they want in their town.
An event will be held on Tuesday, April 15, from 1pm to 3pm at Silloth Library on Liddell Street.
It is hosted by the Fells and Solway Community Panel, which wants to hear what activities and events people would like to see.
The panel, part of Cumberland Council, said everyone was welcome they wanted to hear a wide range of views.
The authority added: “This will help councillors see where there are gaps in provision, and support the development of those services, with possible funding and other support for partners.”
The panel also wants to hear how people think the Solway Coast Discovery Centre should be used.
People will be able to fill in a survey at the event, which will also soon be available online.
There will also be presentations about the Solway Coast National Landscape, and council services like adult learning, libraries, and social prescribing.
Local councillors will also attend to listen to views and hear concerns.
There will be free snacks and booking is not required.
Cumberland Council has eight community panels covering the whole council area. Each links closely with its communities to decide local priorities for investment and support. Each panel has an investment fund to spend on projects in their area.
The Fells and Solway panel, in consultation with the community, decided one of its priorities should be community facilities and activities.
