A man has been arrested following a reported sexual assault in a South Cumbrian pub at the weekend.
Police are investigating a sexual assault that happened on Sunday April 6 at 12.30am at the Sun Inn in Ulverston.
Officers want to speak to witnesses to the assault that happened at a booth near the bar.
The incident involved a woman wearing a grey top and a man in a football top.
A 42-year-old man from Ulverston has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a female and has been released on bail.
Police said they were aware that several people saw the interaction and spoke to the victim to make sure she was okay – officers want to make contact with these witnesses.
