Arrest after iPhone stolen in West Cumbrian robbery

A 19-year-old has been arrested after a robbery in West Cumbria.

Police are investigating the incident, which happened on Poole Road in Workington on Monday, April 7 at around 1pm.

A man in his 20s, of Workington, was the victim and was left with cuts, swelling and grazes to his face and an iPhone 16 was taken.

The 19-year-old man, also from Workington, has been arrested in relation this offence and has since been released on bail. 

Police said they were looking for people who may have seen or heard anything around that time and are asking for people living nearby to check any possible CCTV or doorbell cameras for anything relating to this incident.
