Kensington Palace has released a new film featuring the Princess of Wales in the Lake District.

Princess Catherine was in Windermere last month for the film, which was released by Kensington Palace last night.

She was filmed with Chief Scout Dwayne Fields and visited a group of Scouts from Cumbria and Greater Manchester.

Kate, who is joint president of the Scouts, said the Lake District gave her a sense of peace in a busy world and she found nature very spiritual and had an intense emotional reconnection in natural environments.

The princess, who is in remission from cancer, has previously said nature became her family’s sanctuary in the wake of her diagnosis and during her chemotherapy treatment.
