Roadworks will be carried out on a Carlisle street to replace its safety rails.
Work will start on Tuesday, April 22 on West Tower Street by Metcalfe Plant Hire Ltd and is expected to take three weeks.
Temporary two-way traffic signals will be in operation between Market Street and Dacre Road between 8am and 5pm each day.
Pedestrian and dismounted cyclist access will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
The work has been commissioned by Cumberland Council.
