The final trail of the Oulton series took place on Thursday with 43 hounds turning out over the four-course trail.

Up first were the Seniors with three runners. Darren and Julie McMaster and Anthony Skelton’s Silver Dream was sent off as the favourite.

The hounds were seen going along the beck edge and it was all three hounds together with Silver Dream leading, Thorn Soul in second for Martin, Molly and Teddy Burrows and Sarah Jackson with Money Talks for Graham Reid in third.

Once out of the woods Silver Dream and Thorn Soul had broken clear and had a battle up the finish with neither hound giving in.

Silver Dream managed to grab the win by the smallest head to claim her fourth Senior victory, Thorn Soul finished in second with Money Talks third.
