A minor South Cumbrian road has been closed after a sinkhole was discovered.
An emergency road closure has been issued for the U5795 Ings to Troutbeck.
Westmorland & Furness Council said its out of hours duty team had responded to the reports of the sinkhole, believed to have been caused by a damaged culvert/
Drivers are urged to avoid the route.
