
A luxury Cumbrian hotel has opened a new wellness space.
Farlam Hall, near Brampton, has officially unveiled The Sycamore Retreat,
The new therapy room invites guests to experience bespoke skincare treatments designed to promote relaxation, mindfulness and overall wellbeing. It is run in partnership with GAIA Skincare.
Guests can indulge in a variety of 60 minute treatments, including massage, hot stone massage, facials, and Indian head massage,
The Sycamore Retreat has been designed by Kathy Mares, owner of Farlam Hall and a passionate yoga practitioner.

Guests will also have access to the adjoining recovery room, offering tea and coffee facilities, books, and a water feature.
Chef patron Hrishi Desai said: “At Farlam Hall, we are passionate about providing our guests with an experience that goes beyond luxury – it’s about creating a true sense of wellbeing.
“The introduction of The Sycamore Retreat is a natural extension of this ethos, offering a space where guests can unwind, rejuvenate, and reconnect with themselves in the serene surroundings of the Cumbrian countryside.

“The name honours the iconic Sycamore Gap tree, a symbol of natural beauty and aligns with our estate, which is home to many beautiful trees. It also connects to our exceptional culinary offerings such as the Cedar Tree restaurant. As more people are seeking spaces that nourish the body and mind, this new addition arrives at the perfect moment.”
The Sycamore Retreat is the latest addition to Farlam Hall’s array of recent launches, including the unique HRISHI’s Table chef’s table experience and the Michelin-starred Cedar Tree restaurant.
